The role will involve the preparation and application of coatings to a range of precision-engineered components, ensuring high-quality finishes in line with strict industry standards.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Preparation of components for paint spraying and finishing, including cleaning, masking, and surface treatment
- Application of coatings using spray guns (wet spray / powder coating where applicable)
- Ensuring consistent coverage, thickness, and high-quality finish across all parts
- Setting up and maintaining spray equipment, including guns, booths, and filters
- Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Supporting colour changes and ensuring minimal contamination between jobs
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Reliable with good timekeeping and ability to meet production targets
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00 (flexible start and finish times available)
- Friday: 07:30 - 13:00
Salary
- Up to £35,000, depending on experience
Compliance & Requirements
- Right to work in the UK (passport or share code with supporting documentation)
- Ability to provide 5 years' checkable work history (referencing required)
